Position(s) held at CWH

Business Development Manager, Internet Sales Manager, Product Specialist

What brand(s) do you work for? Camping World What other teams do you work with the most? Being in this position I am blessed to be able to work with just about every team in our organization. I work closest with RV sales and Retail but get to do some awesome projects for Good Sam, Overton's, and service. What is your favorite thing about your job and why? It is absolutely the people, without a doubt. I get to do some of the coolest stuff on the planet - tell people about vehicles designed to make their vacation dreams come true, so that's a bonus. The fact that I get to work with some of the most professional and creative people on the planet has made me better in every aspect of my career. Everyone is willing to listen and help, the communication and thoughtfulness in this organization are unlike any I have worked in. What is the most rewarding project you have worked on here and why? Oh wow, it's hard to pick just one. They are all so rewarding. I would have to say that the first Ultimate RV Show that we did back in 2020 would have to be the tops. Not only did it set a new standard for how our products are marketed across the industry, it really set us apart as the premier organization for what we do. Our team has such a positive outlook that they took a situation like the COVID shut down and turned it into an opportunity for people to still get out and enjoy recreational time in the safety and comfort of their own home aka RV. Add that to the fact that all teams pitched in and made it a wildly successful event and it's just the icing on the cake of something that I will always remember. What charity/cause/activity is most important to you and why? I'm a Rotarian and I've worked a lot with the VA and Make a Wish. I'm a fan of any charity or cause that helps our vets and kids. I was able to take part in an event called Pigstock where we got together with some great people in town and did a big "grill and smoke off". 24 hours of cooking some amazing food, then selling it with all of the profits going to charity. What advice would you give to someone applying to a job at Camping World? Be yourself and be open all the time. Express your thoughts and communicate. This is such an amazing organization with so many movement opportunities. Your team will help you if you communicate. Whatever position you are in, do your best and blaze a trail - you never know who is noticing you, and TRUST me, people are noticing you.
