What brand(s) do you work for? Camping World What other teams do you work with the most? I work in conjunction with the Inventory Team, the Retail Team, and the Website Development team on a frequent basis. What is your favorite thing about your job and why? I love getting good RV images to use for a wide variety of marketing purposes. My feeling is the best images make for a better impression of our company and I'm happy to keep my team cranking out good images. I also love creating copy for product pages as well as Brand Overview scripts with both being educational, engaging, and a bit entertaining. What is the most rewarding project you have worked on here and why? Ultimate RV Shows both as a 'stand alone' one site and the Road Show. These totally utilize all of my skills and, while a bit stressful at times, create such a buzz of excitement felt across the RV Sales team - you can't help but be amped up. It's refreshing to hear from the store level how much impact these shows have. What charity/cause/activity is most important to you and why? Any environmental issue. I feel we are, or should be, cautious stewards of the environment at Camping World. We should help preserve not only natural settings but do what we can to help keep our own Good Sam campgrounds operating at a higher, environmentally responsible level. As such, I have suggested we at the corporate level reach out to Good Sam campgrounds to help 'spruce' them up so to speak. What advice would you give to someone applying to a job at Camping World? It is not difficult to pitch in and help wherever you can within the parameters of your job. Those who desire upward mobility should learn all about the RV industry and sales to further their career as well as learn to have an understanding of how everyone else's jobs function.
