Many of us have worked together for more than 10 years, and we have created a fun and hardworking environment together. I believe it is important to work with a team that is collaborative, supportive, trustworthy, and committed to achieving the goals of the business; I am lucky to be part of this team. As a leader, I enjoy opportunities to mentor and develop members of my team. I love seeing the growth and excitement a co-worker has when something finally “clicks” for them as they gain new skills/knowledge.What made you interested in working in the outdoor recreation industry?Growing up in South Dakota, I spent many summers camping and boating with my best friend’s family. Over the years my love for the outdoors has grown with snowboarding trips to Mammoth Mountain and annual vacations to my parent’s cabin in the Black Hills. It is great to work for a company that supports the outdoor lifestyle I enjoy.How has Camping World Holdings helped you succeed as a woman in the workplace? How is this different than other companies you have worked at?During my career at Camping World, I have been fortunate to work with many women in various leadership roles. I am grateful they took the time to see my potential and provide opportunities for me to grow within the organization. These leaders have been great mentors and role models. I appreciate the business knowledge they have shared with me and the road they have paved for the many women in the organization. What advice would you offer other women who are interested in a career at a Camping World Holdings brand?Go for it! If you put in the work, there are opportunities for women to be successful and grow within the organization. What brand(s) do you work for? Camping World What other teams do you work with the most? I believe I work the same with every department. Every single member of my Team is my Family. I feel comfortable walking into any department and working it or just being there for support when necessary. What is your favorite thing about your job and why? I must say that it would be difficult to have only once choice however I think the absolute best part of my job is knowing that I am responsible for providing safety, care and financial support for over 50 families. There is not much better of a feeling than that. Several times a month we do family style cookouts to just gather together because we are as close as a family gets. I am so Proud to be the leader of this Team. What made you interested in working in the outdoor recreation industry? I began in this industry on accident nearly 20 years ago. I walked in for an interview just after maternity leave under the advice of a local head hunter. I forgot to write down the name of the company or the name of the person I was there to meet. I truly walked in the door looking for a finance position that I had no interest in having come from the car business. I accepted the position within 30 minutes at which time paved the way for the rest of my life. I have never turned back after I first walked in that door. How has Camping World Holdings helped you succeed as a woman in the workplace? How is this different than other companies you have worked at? I have worked really hard in this business and all alike to be taken seriously as a woman in the work place. My very first Finance job as a young woman was one of the most difficult I had ever done due to being a woman. Both companies that I worked at previous to Camping World accepted me however the support was no where near that of Camping World. I personally believe the diversity offered and expected by Camping World is better than any other company I have ever worked for or with in my 20 years of employment. What advice would you offer other women who are interested in a career at a Camping World Holdings brand? I would tell any woman interested in a Career with Camping World to go for it. You are the one in charge of your destiny and Camping World will be the best support you will find out of any other RV dealer in the entire country.

I work with most teams in the business inclusive of legal, payroll, accounting in all businesses, and operations. What is your favorite thing about your job and why? The close-knit group of smart individuals that are all striving to be a team. What made you interested in working in the outdoor recreation industry? My prior work history involved auditing and providing financial consulting to automobile dealerships. The CW dealership group, of which I've been a part of every single acquisition, has a similar back-end accounting system and methodology that fit well with my previous background. How has Camping World Holdings helped you succeed as a woman in the workplace? How is this different than other companies you have worked at? I've been given the opportunity to reach a pivotal title for a woman and I have strived to mentor other women in our company to help them reach their career goals. What advice would you offer other women who are interested in a career at a Camping World Holdings brand? Be yourself. Speak up and provide solutions. Be a team player. Your growth will come from your work product and how you conduct yourself.
