Inventory Analyst

What brand(s) do you work for? Camping World, Good Sam What other teams do you work with the most? I work on the Inventory Control team. What is your favorite thing about your job and why? When I started as an inventory analyst in the Fall of 2020, I brought with me nearly a decade of inventory management experience as well as a genuine interest in this particular industry, which enabled me to fill the job requirements effectively. I enjoy collaborating and building relationships with my manufacturers and sales representatives. In my experience, collaboration and relationship-building are essential functions of my job and because of that, I have made a positive impact in my territory. From adding new brands in my dealerships (new revenue streams) to forecasting (refining the inventory mix) to replenishment (make sure we are in stock), I play just one part of the Inventory Control team who is entrusted to help process, facilitate, and execute the business. What made you interested in working in the outdoor recreation industry? I come from an Apparel background and I had been in that industry right out of college. I was at a point in my career where I wanted to break into a new industry. I was looking to grow professionally and strengthen my skills in an interesting and challenging workplace, which is exactly what I found here at Camping World. How has Camping World Holdings helped you succeed as a woman in the workplace? How is this different than other companies you have worked at? I have grown significantly, both personally and professionally, during my time here at Camping World Holdings. I have to give credit to my co-workers (within the Inventory Control team) who have helped me with my onboarding/training and even now to this very day. I would not be where I am right now if it wasn't for their patience and willingness to teach me about the industry and job. I would say what makes Camping World Holdings different than other companies I have worked at is an openness to share knowledge. What advice would you offer other women who are interested in a career at a Camping World Holdings brand? My advice to other women who are interested in a career at Camping World Holdings would be yes, you do belong, and yes, you can succeed here. It is normal to have self-doubt but I believe if you have an open mind, have a good attitude, work hard, and put in your best effort, you can do well here!
