What other teams do you work with the most?
I work with our Field Operations Team that includes our dealership and retail organization, and recently I have started supporting our Call Center Operations Team. If it's related to the customer experience I want to learn as much as I can about how we can continue to improve and exceed our customers expectations.
What is your favorite thing about your job and why?
That's easy! Our customers and my amazing teammates!
Knowing that our customers have a choice when they're ready to purchase an RV, have service work done at one of our service centers, or buy different accessories from our retail business, I want Camping World to be their first choice every time! In order to earn their business and their trust, we have to hold ourselves to the highest standard and provide them with the best experience. Today, I have the privilege of overseeing the development and implementation of processes to improve customer cultivation, customer retention and retail sales for the enterprise.
What made you interested in working in the outdoor recreation industry?
Before joining Camping World I stayed at home to raise my two sons Blake and Brandon after a previous career in banking. When my youngest was ready to enter kindergarten, I knew I wanted to do something challenging and fun outside of the home. Growing up my dad worked in car dealerships so I knew the ins and outs of the business. When I walked through the doors of Camping World, it was an easy transition and I quickly fell in love with our customers and the RV lifestyle.
What advice would you offer other women who are interested in a career at a Camping World Holdings brand?
Come join us! I've been told countless times that the magic happens when we step outside of our comfort zone and it's so true. Whether you're just entering the work force, returning after time away, or you're looking for a new opportunity, we would love to share more about who we are and why we might be a great fit for you.
